The 20-year-old was tied with Stacy Lewis for the lead entering the final hole at Atlantis Resort's Ocean Club Golf Course when she put her second shot through the back of the green, where it stopped amid cables near the grandstand.

With her caddie and a tournament official holding up the cables, Korda putted under them to within 5 feet of the hole and closed with a birdie putt.

Her only other win came at the 2012 Women's Australian Open.

Lewis shot a 66 and finished second at 18-under 274.

Third-round leader Na Yeon Choi settled for a 72 and a third-place tie with Paula Creamer (69), Lizette Salas (71) and Pornanong Phatlum (67) at 16-under.
