NHL: Buffalo 5, Columbus 2

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Christian Ehrhoff had a goal and two assists Saturday and the Buffalo Sabres beat Columbus 5-2 to snap the Blue Jackets' club-record eight-game winning streak.

Erhoff and Marcus Foligno each scored short-handed for the Sabres, who broke a five-game skid.

Steve Ott, Matt Ellis and Cody Hodgson also scored.

Ryan Miller earned the victory with 36 saves.

Derek MacKenzie and Mark Letestu each had a goal and an assist for the Blue Jackets, who fell for the first time since Jan. 4.

Sergei Bobrovsky started in net but was pulled early in the second period after allowing allow three goals on 10 shots.

Curtis McElhinney turned aside 10-of-11 shots the rest of the way.
