Jan. 24, 2014 at 1:11 AM

ANAHEIM, Calif., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Frederik Andersen blanked Los Angeles for the game's last 53:47 Thursday, giving Anaheim the chance to rally for a 2-1 win over the Kings.

Andersen gave up an early goal to Anze Kopitar and then made 30 saves to bring the Ducks their 21st home win in 24 tries.

Dustin Penner scored the tying goal with 6:09 to go in the second period and Patrick Maroon produced what turned out to be the game-winner four minutes later.

Penner's goal came on the power play and Maroon beat Jonathan Quick with a wraparound shot.

The Kings suffered their fourth straight loss. Quick gave up two goals on just 21 shots.
