NBA: San Antonio 105, Atlanta 79

ATLANTA, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan scored 17 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and earned an early rest Friday in San Antonio's 105-79 drubbing of Atlanta.

None of the San Antonio starters played more than 30 minutes and Duncan played just 27 in the one-sided victory.

The Spurs bounced back from their home loss to Oklahoma City on Wednesday, making 11-of-18 from 3-point range.

Boris Diaw came off the bench to lead San Antonio in scoring with 21 points and all 12 players who took the court for the Spurs had at least two points. The San Antonio halftime lead was 21 points and Atlanta never made a move to get back in it.

The Hawks shot 38 percent from the field and turned the ball over 17 times. Paul Millsap scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Atlanta.
