CLEVELAND, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Anderson Varejao hit 8-of-11 shots from the field Friday and his 16 points led the way in Cleveland's 93-78 victory over Milwaukee.
The Cavaliers prevented the NBA's worst team from posting back-to-back victories for what would have been the first time this year. Milwaukee ended a nine-game losing streak with a win over Detroit on Wednesday.
Milwaukee scored only 32 points during the second and third quarters to fall behind by 16 heading into the final period.
Tristan Thompson scored 14 points for Cleveland and added 10 rebounds.
Khris Middleton led the Bucks with 13 points.
