LAS VEGAS, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Cordell Broadus, prominent high-school football prospect and son of rap artist Snoop Dogg, has transferred to a Las Vegas high school from Southern California.
Broadus transferred from Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, Calif., to Bishop Gorman High school in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Sun reported Thursday, noting the family is believed to be moving to the Las Vegas area.
Broadus, a 6-foot-3, 186-pound wide receiver, is ranked as the nation's No. 18 overall college recruiting prospect at his position by the rating service Rivals.com.
"He told me he wants to play for a bigger school to get him ready for college," Diamond Bar football Coach Ryan Maine told the San Gabriel Valley (Calif.) Tribune in December. "We're going to miss his presence at wide receiver. We wish him the best of luck."
