NBA: Philadelphia 110, New York 106

NEW YORK, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- A career-best 34 points from Evan Turner Wednesday boosted Philadelphia to a 110-106 win over New York that ended the 76ers' three-game skid.

Philadelphia led by seven heading into the final minute and easily held on to hand the Knicks their fifth consecutive setback.

Turner made 13-of-22 from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds as well. Michael Carter-Williams added 19 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for the 76ers, who hit 9-of-14 from 3-point range.

Thaddeus Young also chipped in 19 points for Philadelphia and James Anderson had 18.

New York was led by Carmelo Anthony with 28 points and Andrea Bargnani with 20.

The 76ers collected 17 offensive rebounds.
