NBA: Phoenix 117, Denver 103

PHOENIX, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Channing Frye pumped in 30 points on 12-of-16 shooting Sunday and the Phoenix Suns put the heat on Denver 117-103.

Frye sank 5-of-7 attempts from 3-point range as Phoenix corralled a third straight victory over the Nuggets.

Markieff Morris added 16 points and Goran Dragic scored 15 for the Suns.

Leandro Barbosa helped out with 13 in a reserve role.

Denver was paced by Anthony Randolph with 19 points and Ty Lawson had a double-double of 17 and 14 assists.

Wilson Chandler and Evan Fournier each added 17 points for the Nuggets.
