PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Chris Bosh launched Miami to a hot start Friday and the Heat ended its longest losing streak in two seasons with a 101-86 decision over Philadelphia.

Miami had lost the first three games of a six-game road trip before rolling over a Philadelphia team that shot 36 percent from the field and made only 2-of-20 from 3-point range.

Bosh scored 25 points, helping Miami build a 17-point halftime lead. LeBron James contributed 21 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists, while both Shane Battier and Norris Cole had 13 points.

Dwyane Wade, who has missed recent action with sore knees, played 24 minutes and scored eight points.

Tony Wroten led Philadelphia in scoring with 13 points off the bench.
