ANAHEIM, Calif., Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Nick Bonino scored two of Anaheim's four second-period goals Wednesday in sending the Ducks coasting past Vancouver 9-1.

Anaheim took a 6-0 lead while winning its eighth in a row and opening a 13-point lead over San Jose at the top of the Pacific Division.

The one-sided nature of the game led almost inevitably to bad blood with six players, four of them from Vancouver, being given game misconduct penalties. There were four fighting major penalties assessed as well and two slashing penalties were called on the Canucks in the final minute.

Andrew Cogliano and Selanne scored in the first period and the Ducks then broke things open in the second.

Corey Perry scored 3:58 into the second, driving Eddie Lack out of the contest. Lack gave up three goals on 13 shots before being replaced by Joacim Eriksson.

Bonino greeted Eriksson with a pair of goals that both came on power-play slap shots. Jakob Kassian added yet another power-play goal with 4:31 to go in the middle period.

Anaheim tacked on three more goals in the third, including one from Perry and another from Selanne.

Fredrik Andersen picked up the easy win by making 31 saves.
