PHOENIX, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Gary Green produced a season-high point total for the second time this month Wednesday, leading Phoenix to a 121-114 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Los Angeles lost its sixth in a row and has dropped 12 of its last 13 games.

The game was spiced by a confrontation between Alex Len of the Suns and Nick Young of the Lakers, both of whom were ejected.

Phoenix made up a four-point halftime deficit by outscoring the Lakers 34-24 in the third period and went on to snap a three-game losing streak.

Green had 24 points in a win over Milwaukee on Jan. 4 and improved his season-best total to 28 in this game.

Pau Gasol piled up 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Lakers. Wesley Johnson contributed 22.
