MONTREAL, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Jaromir Jagr notched his 695th career goal to move into seventh place on the NHL's all-time scoring list Tuesday, helping New Jersey bounce Montreal 4-1.

Jagr's score-tying goal late in the first period enabled him to pass Mark Messier.

Max Pacioretty got the only goal for the Canadiens.

Carey Price turned aside 15-of-18 shots.
