NBA: Houston 104, Boston 92

BOSTON, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard had a double-double of 32 points and 11 rebounds Monday and the Houston Rockets handed Boston a ninth straight loss, 104-92.

Jeremy Lin provided 16 points with nine assists and James Harden also scored 16 for the Rockets, who notched a second win in three road games.

Chandler Parsons added 14 points in his return from a three-game injury absence.

The Celtics, meanwhile, continued their worst skid since 2007-08 despite 24 points from Avery Bradley.

Jerryd Bayless contributed 17 for Boston.
