NEW YORK, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Daniel Carcillo and Rick Nash scored 18 seconds apart early in the first period Sunday and the New York Rangers went on to bounce Philadelphia 4-1.
The two quick goals came within the game's first 3 minutes and Derick Brassard added another Rangers score before the initial period was halfway through.

Henrik Lunqvist stopped 37-of-38 shots for New York, who moved into a second-place tie with Washington in the Metropolitan Division with 51 points.
Chris Kreider added a goal and an assist.
Mark Streit scored for the Flyers, who dropped a second game in two days.
Ray Emery made 31 saves.
