The burglary was reported Saturday and apparently occurred sometime last week, Philadelphia police said.
The home was ransacked and a safe was cracked. "We know that a safe has been compromised, and at least $250,000 in cash and jewelry are missing at this time," police spokeswoman Tanya Little said. "We also have information that a gun safe that was locked with combination and a key was compromised."
Jackson was the Eagles' leading receiver this year and played under a $47 million contract that was restructured in 2012, the Philadelphia Inquirer said.
