NBA: Dallas 110, New Orleans 107

DALLAS, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki poured in 40 points Saturday, going 15-of-16 from the free-throw line in the Dallas Mavericks' 110-107 victory over New Orleans.

Monta Ellis supplied 26 points as the Mavericks completed a home-and-home sweep of the Pelicans.

Jose Calderon netted 17 points.

New Orleans suffered its fifth straight loss despite 28 points and 14 rebounds from Anthony Davis.

Eric Gordon put in 20 points and Al-Farouq Aminu had a double-double of 15 and 11 rebounds.
