MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Nikola Pekovic's 26 points and Minnesota's 54 percent shooting Friday brought the Timberwolves a 119-92 triumph over Charlotte.

Minnesota outscored the Bobcats in every quarter, but a 39-20 advantage in the second period blew the game open.

Pekovic made 10-of-14 shots from the field and all of his six tries from the foul line. Both Kevin Martin and Kevin Love had 19 points with Love contributing 14 rebounds.

Minnesota went 9-of-19 from 3-point range.

Anthony Tolliver scored 21 points off the bench to lead Charlotte, which has won only three times in 11 tries against Western Conference teams.
