Jan. 10, 2014 at 11:50 PM

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Kyrie Irving led the way with 25 points Friday, helping carry Cleveland to just its third road win of the season -- 113-102 over Utah.

The three road victories are tied for the NBA low this season, but this one was a solid triumph and came in the Cleveland debut of Luol Deng, who was traded from Chicago this week for Andrew Bynum and multiple draft picks.

The Cavaliers outscored Utah 39-21 in the third period to take control. Tristan Thompson added 18 points and 15 rebounds while both C.J. Miles and Dion Waiters had 17. Deng started, played 21 minutes and scored 10 points.

Richard Jefferson scored 18 points to lead the Jazz.
