NBA: Utah 112, Oklahoma City 101

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Gordon Hayward scored 37 points and grabbed 11 rebounds Tuesday to lead the Utah Jazz to a 112-101 win over visiting Oklahoma City.

Hayward was on fire from the field, hitting 13-of-16 field goals and 9-of-13 free throws en route to Utah's third victory in four tries.

Derrick Favors added 15 points to the Jazz attack and Trey Burke scored 10 points.

Kevin Durant scored a dizzying 48 points, the highest total in the NBA this season, in the loss. He hit 14-of-34 shots and also had seven rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Reggie Jackson scored 20 for Oklahoma City.
