SACRAMENTO, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- DeMarcus Cousins scored 35 points and Rudy Gay had 32 Tuesday in the Sacramento Kings' 123-119 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Cousins also had 13 rebounds for the Kings, who ended their two-game losing streak and dealt the Blazers their fourth loss in their last six games.

Isaiah Thomas added 22 points and eight assists to the Sacramento attack. The Kings took advantage of a sizable number of fouls called on Portland by converting 36-of-50 free throws.

Damian Lillard scored 41 to lead Portland. LaMarcus Aldridge scored 24 and Robin Lopez had 18 points.

Lillard led a late Portland charge that cut Sacramento's lead to 119-116 in the closing seconds, but Thomas sank four clutch free throws to keep the Blazers at bay.
