GLENDALE, Ariz., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Police released surveillance footage showing former basketball player Richard Dumas allegedly stealing from a military post exchange in Glendale, Ariz.

The video showed Dumas, 44, taking a bottle of liquor and stuffing it down his pants at the Luke Air Force Base exchange store, KSAZ-TV, Phoenix, reported Wednesday.

Investigators say Dumas stole hundreds of dollars of merchandise from the store, including alcohol and cigarettes, before his December arrest.

Dumas played for the Phoenix Suns and the Philadelphia 76ers in the early 1990s, and later played for professional teams in Europe and minor league basketball teams in the United States.
