NEW YORK, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson scored 23 points and Mirza Teletovic came off the bench to nail four 3-pointers Monday, boosting the Brooklyn Nets over Atlanta 91-86.

Teletovic finished with 16 points for Brooklyn, which won a third straight to begin the new year.

Alan Anderson (14 points) and Shaun Livingston (12) also reached double figures.

Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague each put in 16 points but it wasn't enough to prevent a third straight loss for the Hawks.

DeMarre Carroll provided 10 points and seven rebounds.
