Falling temperatures and the likelihood of snow will factor into the contests scheduled for open-air venues in Philadelphia, Cincinnati and the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis.
The first game -- between the Colts and the Kansas City Chiefs -- will be played Saturday afternoon in the relative comfort of Indianapolis' domed stadium. In Saturday's second game, the Eagles can expect cold, dry weather when they tackle the New Orleans Saints in Philadelphia.
Snow will likely be a major factor Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati where the Bengals host the Chargers of sunny San Diego. AccuWeather.com said temperatures will be in the 30s at kickoff, but conditions will deteriorate into a full-fledged blizzard with several inches of blowing snow likely by the end of the day.
The Packers play the final game of the weekend Sunday night, and players and fans can look forward to below-zero temperatures. AccuWeather.com said snowfall will likely hold off, but a brisk northwest wind will drag wind chills down to 30-below.
