NFL: Seattle 27, St. Louis 9

SEATTLE, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Seattle's Golden Tate racked up 129 receiving yards with a touchdown Sunday and the Seahawks secured the NFC's top seed with a 27-9 victory over St. Louis.

Tate made eight catches, including a 47-yard TD pass from Russell Wilson in the fourth quarter, as the Seahawks finished the regular season with an NFC-best mark of 13-3 and claimed home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Wilson completed 15-for-23 passes for 172 yards and Marshawn Lynch ran for 97 yards with a score on 23 carries.

The Rams (7-9) were led by Kellen Clemens, who completed 21-of-30 passes for 157 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
