NBA: Memphis 120, Denver 99

MEMPHIS, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Zach Randolph led Memphis with 20 points Saturday and the Grizzlies kept Denver on the skids with a 120-99 spanking of the Nuggets.

Ed Davis put in 17 points and Jerryd Bayless added 15 as Memphis recorded just its third win in nine games.

Mike Conley (14 points, six rebounds, four assists) and James Johnson (14, seven, six) also played big roles for the Grizzlies.

Denver, meanwhile, dropped a sixth straight despite 20 points and eight assists from Ty Lawson.

Wilson Chandler contributed 19 points.
