LeBron James limping after loss in Sacramento

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- LeBron James was questionable for Saturday's game in Portland after aggravating an ankle injury and adding a groin strain to the mix, the Miami Heat said.

James scored 33 points in Sacramento Friday, but limped noticeably in the second half and said afterward he "ain't feeling too good right now."

James, who has yet to miss a game this season, played 43 minutes Friday night and went on a tear in overtime with a trio of 3-pointers but the Heat still lost 108-103, the Miami Herald said.

James said he would see how he felt after the quick journey to Portland, before he and the team made any decisions. The Herald said he was looking at the longer-term picture rather than whether to play in a highly anticipated match-up with the Trail Blazers, who are tied with Oklahoma City for the best record in the Western Conference at 24-5.

The Heat, at 22-7, have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference, behind Indiana.
