NBA: Portland 116, Los Angeles Clippers 112 (OT)

PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Nicolas Batum's 3-pointer at the end of regulation set up the Portland Trail Blazers to pull off a 116-112 overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday.

The Trail Blazers scored eight of the last 11 points in overtime to take their seventh win in eight games.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 32 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, while Batum and Wesley Matthews each added 19 points for Portland.

Chris Paul's 34-point, 16-assist performance was marred by a missed potential game-winner at the end of regulation. Blake Griffin contributed 35 points and 11 rebounds and Jamal Crawford had 21 points for Los Angeles in the loss.
