Among those banned was Yevgeny Kolomiets, who took silver at the 2011 world junior championships in the 94-kilogram class, the Russian sports news agency R-Sport reported.
The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) said the 22-year-old had been banned for 10 years for a repeat doping offense.
The specifics of his violation were not released.
Another repeat offender, Yury Selyutin, also was banned for 10 years. He had been banned for two years in 2010 after testing positive for metandienone, International Weightlifting Federal records indicate.
Dmitry Srybny, Mikhail Reznichenko and Teimur Aleskerov were banned for two years.
Oleg Musokhranov was banned for three months, RUSADA said in a statement on its website.
