NBA: Golden State 89, Denver 81

DENVER, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- David Lee recorded 28 points and 10 rebounds for a ninth straight double-double Monday, boosting the Golden State Warriors over Denver 89-81.

Klay Thompson heated up in the fourth quarter with eight late points, including a game-sealing jumper with 22.6 seconds left as the Warriors picked up their third win in four games.

Stephen Curry chipped in 14 points for Golden State.

The Nuggets got 16 points from Ty Lawson in dropping a fourth straight.

Timofey Mozgov provided 14 and 11 rebounds.
