OTTAWA, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Erik Karlsson provided a goal and two assists Monday, helping the Ottawa Senators end Pittsburgh's seven-game winning streak with a 5-0 rout.

Craig Anderson notched a 27-save shutout for the Senators, who snapped a three-game skid.


Zack Smith, Kyle Turris, Bobby Ryan and Cory Conacher each scored.

Marc-Andre Fleury was lit up for five goals on 29 shots for the Penguins, who were shut on the road for the first time since Feb. 1, 2012.

Pittsburgh forward Pascal Dupuis sustained a lower-body injury in the first period after a collision with teammate Sidney Crosby.
