NBA: Oklahoma City 105, Denver 93

DENVER, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant scored 30 points Tuesday to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 105-93 win over the Denver Nuggets and their seventh consecutive victory.

Durant, who scored at least 28 points in six of the seven wins, hit 11-of-23 shots and put in a yeoman stint of nearly 38 minutes on the floor for the Thunder.

Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka notched double-doubles for the Thunder. Westbrook nearly had a triple-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists.

Denver had 20 points and 14 rebounds from J.J. Hickson, and Ty Lawson scored 17 points and 13 assists.

The Nuggets kept pace with the Thunder the entire game and cut the Oklahoma City lead to 77-83 with 7:16 to play in the game. But the Thunder rattled off the next six points to increase their buffer to 89-77 with 6:09 remaining.
