The score was tied 1-1 when Pascal Dupuis fed Crosby in the slot and the superstar center bested the Maple Leafs' Jonathan Bernier with a wrist shot for the decisive tally.

Chris Conner also scored and Brandon Sutter added an empty-netter as the Penguins won a fourth straight and ninth in 10 games.

Marc-Andre Fleury earned the win with 25 saves.

Morgan Rielly scored and Bernier yielded two goals on 30 shots for Toronto, which fell for a fourth time in five contests.
