NHL: Vancouver 6, Boston 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Henrik Sedin led Vancouver's offensive assault with a goal and an assist Saturday and the Canucks romped to a seventh straight win, 6-2 over Boston.

David Booth, Jannik Hansen, Chris Higgins, Chris Tanev and Yannick Weber each scored for the Canucks, who reeled off a seventh straight victory in their first meeting with the Bruins since falling to Boston in Game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals.

Brad Richardson, Mike Santorelli and Daniel Sedin each came up with two assists.

Roberto Luongo stopped 39-of-41 shots to earn the win.

Reilly Smith notched both goals for the Atlantic Division-leading Bruins, who had their four-game winning streak snapped and closed out a four-game Canadian road trip with a 3-1-0 mark.

Tuukka Rask started in goal but was lifted in the third period after yielding four goals on 23 shots.

Chad Johnson stopped 3-of-5 shots the rest of the way.
