NBA: Sacramento 106, Houston 91

SACRAMENTO, Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Sacramento's Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins combined for 47 points Sunday and the Kings downed Houston 106-91 for their first win since a big trade.

Gay came to the Kings as part of a seven-player deal Dec. 9 and paid big dividends Sunday, pouring in 26 points while providing five rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Cousins added 21 points and 10 rebounds for Sacramento.

Isaiah Thomas helped out with 19 points and eight assists and Derrick Williams came off the bench for 11 points and six rebounds.

The Rockets got 25 points from James Harden.

Dwight Howard had a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Chandler Parsons supplied 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
