DENVER, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Gordon Hayward
helped Utah pull away in the fourth quarter with 30 points and 13 rebounds Friday, lifting the Jazz to a 103-93 decision over Denver.
The Jazz trailed by four heading into the final period, but held the Nuggets scoreless over the final three minutes while concluding the game on a 7-0 run.
Derrick Favors added 19 points and six rebounds while Richard Jefferson scored 14 points for Utah.
The Jazz have won consecutive games for only the second time this season. Utah's six wins overall leaves it tied with Sacramento for the fewest in the Western Conference.
Jordan Hamilton and Wilson Chandler both had 17 points for the Nuggets. Denver lost at home for the third time this season, equaling the number of home setbacks from all of last year.
