NASHVILLE, Dec. 12 (UPI) --
Carter Hutton, given his second straight start, had another excellent outing Thursday while stopping 33 shots in Nashville's 3-1 win over Dallas.
Hutton started on Tuesday and had a 28-save effort in leading the Predators to a 4-1 decision over the New York Rangers that ended a five-game losing streak.
The opening period was nearing an end with Dallas owning a 1-0 lead, but Patric Hornqvist and David Legwand both scored on the power play in the final minute of the stanza to turn the game around.
Paul Gaustad added a second-period goal and the Predators went on to hand Dallas its third loss in four games.
The setback went to Kari Lehtonen, who stopped 27-of-30 shots.
