Aron Baynes, Tim Duncan and Danny Green each scored 14 for San Antonio. It was a career high for Baynes, a 6-foot-10 center-power forward who turned 27 Monday and who has toiled mostly in Europe and the minors since going undrafted out of college in 2009 until finally reaching the NBA with the Spurs last season.

Amir Johnson and DeMar DeRozan put in 19 points apiece for Toronto, which was coming off a 106-94 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday.

Terrence Ross and Jonas Valanciunas each added 14.
