NBA: Cleveland 109, New York 94

CLEVELAND, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Kyrie Irving poured in 37 points Tuesday and the Cleveland Cavaliers dispatched slumping New York 109-94.

Irving connected on 4-of-7 3-point tries and added 11 assists as he continued to excel against the Knicks. Irving has averaged 27.4 points in his last five games against the New York squad.

Jarrett Jack came off the bench to pop in 17 points for the Cavs, who claimed a fourth triumph in five games.

Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points for New York, which was coming off one of the worst home losses in team history. The Knicks fell 114-73 to Boston Sunday at Madison Square Garden.

Amar'e Stoudemire added 15 points.
