NBA: Denver 75, Washington 74

WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Wilson Chandler put in 17 points Monday and the Denver Nuggets posted a win despite a season-low point total in their 75-74 triumph over Washington.

Chandler also grabbed eight rebounds for the Nuggets, who held on for the victory when the Wizards' John Wall lost control of the ball on the final possession of the game.

Nate Robinson contributed 16 points as Denver closed out a six-game road trip with a 4-2 mark.

Wall finished with 20 points and eight assists as the Wizards dropped a second straight.

Marcin Gortat (16 points, eight rebounds) and Trevor Booker (12, 12) also reached double figures for Washington.
