NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant scored 29 points Friday and Oklahoma City dominated the middle two quarters on its way to a 109-95 win over New Orleans.

The Thunder outscored the Pelicans by 14 during the second and third quarters and returned to their winning ways after having an eight-game victory streak halted in Portland on Wednesday.

Durant also pulled down eight rebounds while Russell Westbrook added 25 points. Serge Ibaka chipped in 17 points and 13 boards.

New Orleans lost its second straight to fall a game below the .500 mark. Ryan Anderson hit just 4-of-17 from the field, but his 19 points led the Pelicans.
