CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Jeff Taylor, making the most of his extra playing time, equaled a career high with 20 points Friday in sending Charlotte to a 105-88 win over Philadelphia.
Taylor has been inserted into the starting lineup while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is recovering from a broken left hand. Kidd-Gilchrist is expected to miss at least a month.
Taylor was one of six Charlotte players in double figures, a balanced attack that put an end to the Bobcats' two-game skid.
Gerald Henderson and Kemba Walker added 18 points each and Al Jefferson delivered 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Philadelphia had been trying for back-to-back victories for the first time since winning its first three games of the season. The 76ers ended a four-game losing streak by defeating Orlando on Tuesday.
Tony Wroten led Philadelphia with 21 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
