SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Paul George led the way with 19 points Wednesday, helping Indiana pull away in the fourth quarter to a 95-86 victory over Utah.
The Pacers bounced back from what was just their second loss of the season, one that came on Monday in Portland.
Indiana is 2-1 on a five-game road trip that finishes up with anticipated games this weekend in San Antonio and Oklahoma City.
Utah scored the opening basket of the fourth quarter to take a one-point lead, then scored just seven points over the next 8:17.
Lance Stephenson contributed 15 points for the Pacers, Luis Scola added 14 and Roy Hibbert had 13.
The Jazz had won their previous two games. Derrick Favors had 22 points and 13 rebounds for Utah.
Teams from the Eastern Conference have struggled against those from the West this year, but the East won all three matchups on Wednesday. Cleveland defeated Denver and Atlanta downed the Los Angeles Clippers earlier in the evening.
