NHL: Vancouver 3, Nashville 1

NASHVILLE, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Ryan Kesler scored twice in the third period Tuesday, elevating the Vancouver Canucks over Nashville 3-1.

Kesler broke a 1-1 tie off the rebound of a Jason Garrison shot 7:37 into the final period.

He doubled the advantage less than 7 minutes later on another rebound while Vancouver was on a power play.

Brad Richardson also scored and Roberto Luongo made 30 saves as the Canucks completed a four-game road trip with a 3-1-0 mark.

Colin Wilson scored and Marek Mazanec stopped 30-of-33 shots for the Predators, who dropped a third straight at home.
