CHICAGO, Dec. 2 (UPI) --
Jrue Holiday's 3-point play in the waning seconds of the third overtime Monday provided the difference in New Orleans' marathon 131-128 win over Chicago.
Holiday came off a screen at the top of the key, got a pass from Tyreke Evans and cut down an unguarded lane for a layup while being fouled by Taj Gibson.
Holiday added a free throw and the Bulls' Mike Dunleavy missed a 3-point jumper at the buzzer, giving the Pelicans the hard-fought victory.
Ryan Anderson pumped in 36 points and Eric Gordon added 23 for New Orleans, which completed a three-game road trip sweep.
Luol Deng provided 37 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Chicago.
Gibson had 26 points and 14 rebounds and Dunleavy contributed 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
