NHL: Calgary 2, Los Angeles 1

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Michael Cammalleri scored the go-ahead goal with 23 seconds left in the third period Saturday, sending the Calgary Flames past Los Angeles 2-1.

On the play, Cammalleri controlled the puck behind the Kings' net before shoveling it to Lee Stempniak as he was being brought down.

Stempniak sent it to Mikael Backlund, who again found Cammalleri in the slot. Kings defenseman Slava Voynov lost his stick, allowing Cammalleri to spin around him and send a backhander past Ben Scrivens for the key score.

Blair Jones scored a short-handed goal and Karri Ramo made 21 saves for the Flames, who also beat the Kings in the last minute of an Oct. 21 contest.

Justin Williams got his 200th career goal for Los Angeles, which fell one short of setting a team record of 12 games without a regulation loss.

Scrivens made 18 saves.
