NFL: Miami 23, New York Jets 3

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Ryan Tannehill fired two touchdown passes on his way to 331 yards Sunday and Miami stayed in the playoff hunt with a 23-3 win over the New York Jets.

Tannehill made good on 28-of-43 pass attempts and was intercepted once for the Dolphins (6-6), who with the win remained in the thick of the race for an AFC wild card spot.

Brian Hartline ran for 127 yards with a touchdown on nine catches.

Mike Wallace hauled in seven passes for 82 yards and a score for Miami.

Geno Smith and Matt Simms combined for just 108 passing yards for the Jets (5-7), who coughed up three turnovers in the one-sided loss.
