NBA: Denver 97, New York 95

DENVER, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- JJ Hickson and Ty Lawson made enough free throws in the closing moments Friday to allow Denver to escape with a 97-95 victory over New York.

Carmelo Anthony missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have given the Knicks the win. Instead, they lost their eighth in a row.
