NBA: Brooklyn 97, Memphis 88

MEMPHIS, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Brook Lopez poured in 12 points during a decisive third quarter Saturday, igniting the Brooklyn Nets over Memphis 97-88.

Lopez finished with 20 points and hauled down nine rebounds for the Nets, who improved to 2-7 in their last nine games.

Joe Johnson scored 26 points and Andray Blatche added 21.

Quincy Pondexter provided 22 points -- including 20 late in the game -- but it wasn't enough to rally the Grizzlies.

Mike Conley scored 16 and distributed 10 assists as Memphis fell for the third time in four games.
