NBA: Chicago 99, Detroit 79

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Luol Deng scored a season-best 27 points Wednesday to send Chicago roaring past Detroit 99-79.

It was Chicago's first victory since the club learned Derrick Rose would be lost for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Kirk Hinrich, who has taken Rose's place in the starting lineup, had 13 points and seven assists.

Detroit lost for the 19th time in its last 20 meetings with the Bulls. Rodney Stuckey scored 25 points for the Pistons, who shot just 27 percent in the second half.
