WASHINGTON, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- The Washington Wizards said Tuesday leading scorer Bradley Beal will miss two weeks after being diagnosed with a stress injury to his right leg.

A magnetic resonance imaging exam revealed Beal -- the Wizards' first-round draft pick in 2012 -- had injured his proximal right fibula.

The 20-year-old suffered a similar injury as a rookie last season, causing him to miss Washington's final eight games.

His injury will be re-evaluated next month after the two-week layoff.

Beal has averaged a team-best 20.6 points through 13 games this season.
